What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site uses semantic headings, tabular data in real tables with captions and row headers, visible keyboard focus, and text that reflows without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

We would rather list these than claim compliance we have not verified.

A full independent WCAG audit has not been carried out. The statement above reflects our own assessment.
Some article pages currently render two level-one headings, which makes the heading outline harder to navigate with a screen reader. This is a known template defect and is scheduled for correction.
Some interactive tools have not been formally tested with assistive technology.
Colour contrast has not been verified against AA thresholds on every component.

If something on this site stops you using it, send us a message through the contact form on this site describing the page and what happened. We will acknowledge within five working days, and if we cannot fix it quickly we will tell you how to get the same information another way.
